Concrete Cows Ride

Welcome to this uniquely urban ride! Running largely through parkland and along purpose made horse trails, this ride offers good going all year round, whatever the weather! Boasting very little road work or tarmac/concrete on the route, the venue itself is easily accessible on a flat and compact area with hard-standing parking. It is very accessible (please ask if unsure).

This ride is not a fast ride, but offers a very different, technical challenge! It is ideal for young or novice horses and is barefoot friendly.  The route is primarily flat but presents some unusual challenges such as underpasses, canal boats and of course the concrete cows!

We offer a range of distances and have included a vet gated 47km ride for novices who would like to experience a vet gate prior to upgrading. NB: Riders who have attended previously should note that the routes have been altered to avoid the field section with a series of gates - no route has more than 2 gates (which should be stewarded).
